21 Best Party Speakers 2022 (Based on 7 Factors)

What makes speakers the best party speakers? Bass, Loudness, Bluetooth connectivity, DJ lights, portability, or what?

All of them.

I understand that you might not know what you want.

Normally when I ask people what they think when they’re choosing speakers for their parties outdoor or indoor.

They outright choose loudness.

Speakers should be loud but there are other factors to look for.

Don’t worry, I’ve sorted speakers in this article on the basis of 7 strengths/specialties/deciding factors. I’ve reviewed the 3 best products per category in this 21 best party speakers list.

I should tell you that you can buy any of the following and be happy with your purchase.

However, be mindful that choosing big speakers for a house party of 20 people would not be a wise choice.

You’ll not only end up spending a lot of money but also choosing the wrong product for the party.

So, let’s dive in and help you choose the right speaker.

Note: Click on the “Reviewed Products” mentioned at the end of each deciding factor to get to the review section of the respective category without having to read about the others.

If you don’t have time to explore every category, I’ve also selected the best overall speaker with everything in it in a balance.

The 7 Deciding Factors to buy the best party speakers

Confusions arise because we fail to separate what we like more from what we like less.

I too had heard a lot of things about speakers and which one I should choose.

But I ended up being more confused.

To save you from that fate, after surfing through a lot of speakers on Amazon, here are the basic 7 specialties that they can be divided into.

Reminder: Skip reading and click on the “Reviewed Products” mentioned at the end of each category to get to the review section of it.

I have reviewed three products per category.

Click here to jump to the section where I’ve listed the best overall speaker.

1. Thumping bass

Playing EDM and hip-hop is a must at a party.

To get that bass pumping through the gathering, you’d need speakers that have subwoofers.

You can either go for speakers that have one or two speakers (15” or 18”) so that they can pump air with greater force.

However, they would not produce a crisp sound.

Or, you can go for a smaller unit with 4 to 8 speakers of 8” or 10” diameter. They would work in tandem to let you feel the beat in your heart.

Like most DJs or professionals, you can use large or small speakers together to get the best of both worlds, in case you want the best party speaker system.

Reviewed Products for best party speakers with bass.

2. For house parties

As I said at the start, the best house party speaker system depends on the number of people you’ve invited.

Since it’s indoors, using big and loud ones would not make sense.

Instead, small speakers that can attend to 20 to 50 people would do.

That’s because an enclosed space acts as a reflector for the sound. Even a small frequency reverberates to each and every corner.

3. Bluetooth

Connectivity is important because not everyone is a DJ. We have to play our playlists from our phones.

Bluetooth comes first in that sense when it comes to a music system for a party.

Almost all of the speakers here have Bluetooth. However, what makes the best Bluetooth speakers for party depends on their quality.

When the emphasis is primarily on Bluetooth, you’d experience fewer or no jitters in your songs.

They would play as smoothly as you want them. Of course, that does not mean a compromise on their bass quality and all.

But considering your primary need, I’ve created this category.

Reviewed products for best Bluetooth party speaker

4. Outdoor party

These parties are generally wild.

When I throw it, I invite at least 60 to 100 people and get it going at full blaze.

As for the speakers, you cannot use normal small ones, of course.

Here, you’d have to look for heavy ones such as PA systems that can beat party speakers with bass.

Here, you’d have to take Watts, bass, clarity, and portability into account – all of which make the best speakers for outdoor parties.

Reviewed products for best outdoor party speakers

5. Portability

Well, this isn’t rocket science.

You’d want portable good party speakers if you love throwing parties here and there.

Even the biggest party units are portable but to a less degree. You’d have to unwind them, separate their parts, and put them in their respective bags before you move them.

As compared to that, there are units with handles in the right places.

They are relatively small but when it comes to throwing a party on the way, you can carry them around hassle-free.

They go well in your cars, too.

The speakers I’ve mentioned below in this category do not compromise on sound quality.

At the same time, you cannot expect them to be suitable for a party of 100 people.

6. Big speakers

Here come the big units, the systems that can shake the ground with their sound.

I’m talking about speakers that need stands to be erected.

The ones that have remotes, large Watts, more weights, and a complete badassery.

Best large speakers do come with their share of caveats, though.

The first one being price. They not only weigh heavy on the ground but also on your pocket.

Therefore, unless you’re throwing a wedding party for the whole neighborhood, considering them isn’t wise.

But if you do want to throw the loudest party in your life, go for them by all means.

Reviewed products for best big speakers

7. DJ speakers

We all have a DJ in us.

To explore that, you don’t just need speakers that can make people deaf.

You also need them to make them blind.

Maybe I’m over-exaggerating the fact that the best DJ speakers should have flashing lights.

So, even if you don’t have a party ball, you’d have these making up for it.

The best party speakers 2021 – The Winner

JPL PartyBox 300 Portable Wireless Bluetooth Party Speaker

JBL PartyBox 300

Output watts 120
Output watts 32.4 x 15.48 x 15.59 inches
People 60-70 indoors, 50 outdoors
Power Requires two rechargeable batteries
Battery life 18 hours

Well, there are pre-amps out there that have the best of all the 7 worlds I’ve noted down above.

If not the best, they have everything in reasonable balance to help you get out of your confusion and just buy them right away.

One such speaker, after many days of searching, is JBL PartyBox 300.

Why do I like it?

First of all, it is an eye-catcher. The design is not too in the face and not too dumb.

Sitting on a desk in a corner at your party, it won’t just camouflage in the background or foreground but capture the attention of your guests.

The full panel lighting effect is more than enough for a night party if you know what I mean.

They can generate some pretty DJ lights.

Now, the real deal, its sound quality is commendable.

A little bulky at times, but you won’t see any compromise in the clarity and loudness. Its 120-watt power consumption capacity explains this.

As a rule of thumb, 120-watt corresponds to roughly 110 dB. Good in terms of sensitivity if not the best.

It can very much serve as your best speakers for house parties.

The bass is clear-cut. I mean even at low volumes, you will hear the two woofers thump out all the beats with satisfactory results.

Again, not the best but not the worst.

For portability, you can trust it blindly because it weighs 34 pounds, which is manageable.

With the help of its handle, you can take it anywhere.

All of these features make it a hybrid best party speaker. Meaning, you can use it indoors and outdoor.

However, if your guest list exceeds more than 60 or 70, make sure you pair it with another one of its kind.

You won’t have to hire a DJ, I promise.

  • Good sensitivity All-in-one unit Bang for buck
  • Not for huge parties

Now that we’ve met the winner that has everything but does not excel at everything (I don’t want to say jack of all trades because all that balance in features is very satisfying), let’s get down on the list based on the 7 categories.

Best Party Speakers with Bass

1. Sony XB72 High Power Home Audio System with Bluetooth and Extra Bass

Sony XB72 High Power Home Audio System

Check on Amazon

Output watts 0.5W in standby ~ 80 to 100W in running
Output watts 27.5 x 17.19 x 16.42 inches
People 60-70 indoors, 50 outdoors
Weight 20lbs
Power Corded electric
Battery life No

I was at a loss when I was categorizing Sony XB72 High Power Home Audio System.

That’s because it has a powerful Bluetooth system and it comes with an additional bass setting that can make it the best Bluetooth speaker for outdoor party.

If you’re like me, you’d be okay with connecting one mobile device with the speaker.

But if you’re getting more bass than the other speakers, you’d definitely go for it.

And that’s possibly why I have put this one here.

Why buy it?

It comes with an iconic extra bass system that can be activated by pushing a dedicated button.

What does that mean? Low frequencies at will. More heartbeats.

Its two-speaker system works wonders indoors but you can’t ignore it outdoors as well.

Thank the power it can unleash and the DJ lights that can set your mood.

Of course, it cannot cater to a crowd of more than 60 people outside in your backyard or lawn.

After bass, connectivity is its major pro. You can connect multiple devices at a time.

On top of that, you also get NFC for God knows what.

For karaoke, you can connect a microphone just like that. Your voice won’t sound raspy but don’t expect it to be worthy of a concert.

Since it’s lightweight (20 lbs only) as compared to other speakers, you can carry it around without needing extra hands.

  • Best house party speakers Extra bass and chain connectivity A good brand to trust quality-wise Clean sound even at a max volume setting
  • No batteries. That’s a con for me when it comes to taking it somewhere. A little underpowered

2. Pyle Powered Bluetooth PA Microphone System 15” Subwoofer

Powered Bluetooth PA Microphone System - 15" Active Bass Subwoofer Loudspeaker Built-in USB for MP3 Amplifier - DJ Party Portable Sound Stereo Amp Sub Concert Audio or Band Music - Pyle PPHP1537UB

Output watts 1200
Output watts 29.3 x 15.8 x 19.5
People 100-200 indoors, 70 outdoors
Weight 42lbs

A relatively new entry, the Pyle Powered Bluetooth PA Microphone System comes with a 15” subwoofer.

That is enough to shake the pictures on your walls indoors at max volume.

Using it outdoors for small pool parties and movie nights will also do as long as you’re not looking for a speaker that lasts forever. They’re indeed good speakers for house party.

Why buy it?

The first reason you should go for this speaker is obvious: the 15” subwoofer.

It can produce pretty good bass. However, it isn’t at par with the one I reviewed above.

Besides that, the limits on its base are put by its high power consumption. 1200 watts do seem to produce loud music but at high volumes, it won’t be as clear as you’d like it to be.

It has a built-in amplifier, which again, adds to the loudness pretty much.

Connectivity is good. You can connect Bluetooth, AUX-IN, SD card, and USB just the way you want.

Not the best Bluetooth speaker for party but reliable.

If I say that it’s specially built for connecting with your favorite amplifier, I won’t be wrong.

The high power capacity gives it much leverage over other speakers.

That inevitably means that you can use it as a makeshift PA system without worrying about burning it.

Keep it in mind though, that the loudest speaker is not always the clearer one. Such great capacity compromises on the clarity because of reduced sensitivity.

In a charged concert, who cares about clarity anyway?

That brings us to the fact that if you’re running a band, this speaker with its loudness and decent bass could be your companion. In that sense, you can call this system the best large speakers.

  • Can connect and bear high-end amplifiers Great for small concerts or gatherings Ridiculously loud Portable but heavy Cheap
  • Not the clearest sound No DJ lights

3. TAMPROAD Portable Bluetooth Speakers with Subwoofer Rich Bass

TAMPROAD Portable Bluetooth Speakers

Output watts 11
Output watts 9 x 7 x 10 inches
People 30-40 indoors, 20-25 outdoors
Weight 2.79lbs
Power 1 Li-ion rechargeable battery
Battery life 6 to 8 hours

I don’t understand why isn’t the word “compact” in the name of this unit.

TAMPROAD Portable Bluetooth Speakers with Subwoofer Rich Bass is small enough to be your go-to system whenever you’re hitting the road.

But small doesn’t mean bad at all.

I particularly love how compact this speaker is and yet how rich of a performance it packs.

Of course, you have to consider its shortcomings. Given its small price and size, it wouldn’t compete with the large party stereo systems.

With small ones, it can and that’s why it’s on this list. Let’s see what other reasons there are to buy it.

Why buy it?

First of all, it’s highly portable. There’s a dedicated handle on the top to carry it anywhere, especially, the outdoors.

This also doubles as a phone holder.
I don’t know about you, but I do love myself a speaker that can go with me anywhere.

Then comes its bass power. Although it packs only 11W, which means you certainly can’t use it with an amplifier, it still has 3 speakers.

Two of them are tweeters and one is a badass subwoofer to pump that extra bass.

There’s even a rear heavy bass guide tube at the rear.

Yes, you can connect your phone via Bluetooth, but don’t expect to work long distances.

For a small backyard party, it could work perfectly.

Apart from that, you get AUX input, TF card music playback, U-disk connectivity coupled with a subpar digital display.

I can’t help but mention the lights around the woofer, though.

  • Highly portable Small and works well for small parties/gatherings Cheap Decent bass
  • Loudness might reduce with continued use Of course, you can’t rely on it for your life Not the clearest sound producer one out there

4. Pyle Wireless Portable PA Speaker System 700W

Battery life 19 hours

Not too little, not too much, the Pyle Wireless Portable PA Speaker System can definitely be your multi-room rave buddy.

From the looks, it might pass for not being the best speakers for a party, but don’t give in to that so easily.

It flashes lights and it’s ready to shake your walls.

Personally, for a house party, this could be the best one out there. That is when you ignore its sound quality when you connect it with a microphone.

Why buy it?

For a house party, this one’s pretty loud.

However, you’d have to compromise for its clarity because at max volume, the sound isn’t too commendable.

I think for a party inside one should focus more on loudness. When everyone is there just to dance, a few people care about the clarity.

It comes with a dedicated DJ party ball on its head. Weird, but agreeable.

There are lights around the woofer as well.

Talking about the woofer, the 12” bass amp is pretty decent in conveying those low beats to your ears.

Not too little; not too much.

One thing I love about it is its instant out-of-the-box usability.

You don’t need any sophisticated steps to get it going.

Just take it out of the box, connect your phone via Bluetooth, insert a USB in it, or just plug in that AUX cable and feed music to your hungry ravers. There’s an SD card support as well.

And if those ravers are yearning to sing along, you can easily connect a microphone to it.

You can even record whatever they sing or say weird things because the product can record sound when it’s streaming.

In that case, they make the best speakers for parties.

  • Instant music. No complexity.
  • Sturdy
  • Loud enough to wake your neighbors
  • Complete with connectivity and DJ lights
  • Comes with a stand and two wheels for portability
  • Drab design
  • Almost yells at max volume
  • Not the best bass in the market

5. ION Audio Party Rocker Plus Portable Bluetooth Party Speaker System

People 35-45 indoors, 20-25 outdoors

Battery life 75 hours

A true party rocker for your house, the ION Audio Party Rocker Plus Portable Bluetooth Party Speaker can fill any room with music and fun.

Since doing karaoke at a party, say a birthday party, is a must these days, this product will never cease to amaze you.

Forget about all the complex tweaking because this one has separate controls for mic volume, overall volume, and the echo.

That makes churning out the necessary balance quite easy and the reason why I included it in the list of best speaker for party.

However, be mindful that it is not the loudest option.

Also, the DJ party ball on top is almost as if it has a knack for breaking quite easily.

Why buy it?

I love this one for its karaoke features.

Yes, it’s not the loudest, but you can tweak the controls to produce a sound loud enough for a room full of 30 people.

The fact that there’s a built-in echo effect makes up for the loudness pretty easily.

The fun doubles with its double mic connectivity.

There will be slight jitters when the audio transfers from one singer to another.

But other than that, no issues at all.

There’s Bluetooth connectivity.

For a birthday party, for example, you can rely on it.

However, I’m not sure about the longevity of it at all.

The battery retains more juice than expected.

A longer battery is a blessing for those who have kids.

You won’t see them getting tangled in the cords. Good riddance to that.

Did I mention how ridiculously flashy its lights are?

They could be the life of your party.

Be cautious to keep the speaker up on a table to not to blind your guests.

  • Lightweight and portable Can go cordless for 3 days Echo for a memorable karaoke performance Nice block design Good speakers for party
  • Unimpressive Bluetooth No FM You have to control the tracks from your phone

Battery life 12 hours

The VeGue Karaoke Machine Bluetooth Karaoke System with 2 Wireless Mics is small dynamite

By that I mean it can light up your karaoke parties at home without any remorse.

I’m including this Karaoke speaker because of its portability, small weight, higher watts, efficient and easy controls, and fast set-up as compared to other party speakers systems.

Why buy it?

Its three-mode operation system can not be simpler. Just press the Input button and choose between AUX, recording, or Bluetooth.

Yes, with this, you can record your songs in seconds.

The mics are wireless. You won’t see any distortion when singing along to your favorite music.

However, know that they don’t work on separate channels.

There are LED lights to the front but they’re mediocre.

Unlike many Karaoke music speakers, you can play or stream your music directly into this one.

It can take up to 140 watts. So, using an amplifier with it shouldn’t be a problem at all.

Do not take its small size for granted. It can reach crazy high volumes at the max setting.

For a party, what else could you need?

Another highlight is its echo control.

I love myself some echo when I’m singing at my top voice for added drama.

I think you’d love it, too.

  • Comes with many ways to connect/stream your music Loudness guaranteed The mics are probably the best feature so far Recording your session with it is a breeze Good speakers for house parties
  • No mic holders for the mics Can’t change the channel of the microphones

A versatile piece for both professionals and newbies, the Acoustic Audio by Goldwood Bluetooth LED Light Display Speaker has more to offer.

For any backyard party, or even an event as big as a wedding, it can prove to be a turning point.

Good music played by good speakers always makes or breaks an event, after all.

For house parties, though, you’d need to have a good reason to use these because they can blow your walls away.

Just like that.

Why go for it?

I’m a big fan of free speaker stands. A speaker set up high performs way better than one on the floor.

Cheer up because you’ll get it with this product. It is adjustable and can reach up to your chest if you’re 6”.

The next thing to look for is its powerful Bluetooth.

You can stream music directly into its Bluetooth receiver. However, know that it can get pesky at times.

For example, a few users have complained about the music being not loud enough with the Bluetooth.

I think that may be the problem with some iPhone users.

Not to worry, however. The AUX has no issues whatsoever and it can pretty much bring out the true beast in the product.

The DJ lights are impressive and can be seen from a distance.

It could add new fervor to a party.

Comes with a good-for-lousy-karaoke corded mic.

  • Best for outdoors Very loud Comes with a stand Efficient equalizer
  • The mic is corded Mediocre remote control

Pyle retains its superiority in the speaker industry.

The Pyle Portable Bluetooth PA Speaker is no exception to its entourage of Bluetooth party speakers with an internal subwoofer.

Yes, considering other of its units, this one lags slightly behind.

But that does not mean that it does not deliver, especially, when it comes to loudness, bass, and watts.

Mind you, however, that its main highlight is Bluetooth.

Why buy it?

Greater watts mean that you can use this speaker as your personal PA system.

For small concerts, that could be a blessing. Similarly, in backyard parties, it can bring the house down.

The design is simple with no DJ lights.

That could be an advantage if you want all attention diverted to the event and not to the speakers.

Its blue-tooth amazingly works up to 33+ ft.

Even if you’re far away from the d-floor, this speaker will tend to your music unstoppable.

 There’s real-time recording.

Whatever you say, stream, or sing, the speaker will record it without a hiccup.

Lots of other connectivity options.

AUX, SD card, and USB, you name it.

However, know that it cannot be daisy-chained regardless of the type of connectivity it provides.

Besides Bluetooth, its loudness is the second best thing about it.

You’d experience some distortion at max volumes. But reaching to that won’t be necessary because volumes lesser than that are blaring loud.

  • Bang for the buck; best speakers below $100 or $200 Reliable PA system Easy to set up Too loud; suitable for any event
  • No lights Mediocre performance with low bass tones

Battery life 25 hours

The ION Audio Block Rocker Plus Portable Bluetooth Speaker is a PA system, a personal speaker, an outdoor companion, and a true Bluetooth champion.

It’s all in one in a price range you wouldn’t want to ignore.

Unfortunately, that’s where it’s limited.

Of course, you cannot expect a complete behemoth of a speaker for this price range.

But what you’ll get in the form of this speaker won’t disappoint you at all. Let’s see why.

Why consider this one?

It has a very good bluetooth range.

You can live stream your music from afar without any glitches or hiccups.

That is what you want, no?

Its top volume can go up to 73 decibels, which is pretty neat.

For an indoor house party or an outdoor backyard or patio party around the fire pit, this much loudness is more than enough.

However, know that at high volumes, you might experience jitters.

The sound tends to break noticeably.

The controls on it are quite easy to understand and operate.

There’s a tiny LCD that shows battery percentage, FM station or track playing.

The dedicated blue-tooth button is there, too.

Yes, it is a little heavy, but thanks to its telescopic handle and wheels, you can carry it around easily.

The 8-inch sub-woofer delivers just fine.

Although the company touts a Bass Boost, the bass overall becomes mediocre on high volumes.

However, it does not give away even on the lowest frequencies.

I love the tweeter, to be honest.

It spreads the sound well into the surrounding.

On low volume, you’d see its full potential when the sub-woofer would be quiet.

  • Good compact design Easily operable Durable Portable Big speakers for parties Excellent Bluetooth
  • On higher base settings and full volume, the audio clips You’d have to reduce bass if that happens Corded mic

Outdoor parties such as a wedding or a backyard party with lots of guests require something like the Mackie THUMP Boosted Series.

It’s called THUMP for a reason:
It can make the hairs on your arms reverberate with its base.

But do know that using it requires some learning as it is more inclined towards professional musicians, DJs and those sorts of people.

Once you learn it, though, you will not have enough of it.

I included this one in the list because it is a versatile professional unit that can be used by laymen as well after learning the basics.

Why buy it?

A 12” subwoofer combined with a 1300W power produces sound intensity and base that will rock your words.

In any outdoor setting, such as a concert, wedding, or a private party, it will deliver.

However, the bass boost is too much sometimes.

It’s affordable.

You get six application-specific modes.

In simpler terms, that means you can set the tone according to the setting for which you’re going to use the speaker.

There’s a bass boost, live speaker mode, monitor mode, sub mode and so on.

Use it anywhere in the world without any special power arrangements.

The built-in power correction can make up for the lost AC power; thus, giving you flawless performance.

Since it is built for the professionals, you would experience a crystal clear sound regardless of what you’ve connected with it:

A guitar, mic, vocal mix, and so on, which makes it one of the best speakers for a party you’re throwing.

  • Built to last Light as compared to other units of the same intensity Has multiple audio settings according to different use intent Affordable for its features
  • There can be a 200ms of lag between the source and the speaker on the Bluetooth setting

The Soundboks 2 Wireless Bluetooth Speakers for Outdoors with Batteryboks is a true masterpiece when it comes to party speaker systems.

It is portable with a dedicated handle (looks super cool if you ask me).

It looks great and not to mention, it can fight back all the noise distortions in the outdoors.

Why get it?

Its design is outdoorsy, so everyone would know the kind of speaker you’re carrying into the wild.

You can easily trust its resilience against the natural elements.

I’m saying that because it’s waterproof, dust-resistant, and thus, durable.

122 dB of loudness is enough to beat all the commotion in the nature around you.

The base works great at that intensity. Anything lower than that and the base becomes mediocre.

Not just your adventure speaker, it can also tend to your music festivals, parties, and lots of other events.

The battery life is so impressive.

You get 40 hours of lifetime. That’s enough for a week.

On medium setting it can go for 80 hours with ease.

Bluetooth works amazing even at a large distance.

And the fact that only one person can connect to the Bluetooth
at one time, makes it super secure.

Besides that, you can also connect your phone, CD player, or anything with its ⅛” AUX input.

  • Waterproof, splashproof, dustproof Highly portable Loud and good base Best Bluetooth speakers for parties outdoor as its completely wireless with Bluetooth 3.0

There’s one word in the Soundcore Trance Bluetooth Outdoor Speaker that explains this speaker well.

This one is a dedicated piece among the best speakers for outdoor party if I must say.

Going through its specs sheet, you’d see that from loudness to portability and beyond, everything has been tailored to your experience in your backyard, patio, or just plain wild.

Why buy it?

101 dB sound makes it loud enough to shake your walls indoors and beat the ambient sound outdoors.

Thank both the 5.25-inch woofer and 2-inch tweeter for this.

The woofer spews a decent base when you choose the BassUp mode.

However, don’t expect too much punch and clean low beats.

If for some reason you don’t want all that loudness indoors, you can choose the speaker’s indoor mode from the Soundcore App.

The speaker is completely waterproof.

You know what that means: Pool parties without the worry of losing your music system.

In fact, you can even take it underwater.

You also get a dedicated SoundCore App from where you can change the very alluring lights sandwiching the woofer.

There are 5 light modes just to be clear.

What’s more is that you can even play 3 party games plus change sound effects. Cool in every manner.

The bluetooth is massively impressive.

You can connect two speakers with the same phone.

That also removes the clutter of the wires you’ve to bear when connecting speakers manually.

But controlling the two from the app gets cumbersome at times.

You can also connect two phones to one speaker to settle down the playlist wars.

For portability, there’s a flexible handle on the top.

  • Best for its price Lightweight and powerful Comes with an app Considerably loud
  • Hissing sound in some tracks at high volumes Low ends are not that great

Output watts 200
Output watts 7.5 x 11.7 x 19.4 inches
People Up to 60 indoors, 30 outdoors (patio or backyard)
Weight 13 lbs
Power 1 Rechargeable polymer battery
Battery life 9 hours

The Aiwa Exos-9 Portable Bluetooth Speaker just hits the right balance between being portable and a sound master.

Some users put more emphasis on its sound, though.

I cannot disagree because to each his own.

I talk about the balance because it’s only 13 pounds and the dimensions are just under the “throw-in-the-bag” threshold.

AND the sound quality is above average, thanks to its 6.5” sub-woofer.

I included this one in portability just because of that.

Why get it now?

200W is enough to tell you how much of a power it can pack.

Even at full capacity, you’d see little distortion.

I understand why people give more weight age to its sound quality than portability.

Its dual-coil sub-woofer and tweeters can churn out minute details in songs with more depth.

You’d hear those low ends pretty well.

The Bluetooth connection range is 80 feet.

That means you can connect to it far away from the dance floor.

And if you’re worried about someone else sabotaging your Bluetooth, there’s a dedicated lock mode that locks your phone’s connection effortlessly.

You can also connect another Exos speaker.

However, bear in mind that its firmware should be below 4.58.

If not, you can easily update it via your PC.

I love its graphic equalizer.

It’s so easy to operate that even your grandma would change between highs lows and bass with ease.

You also get 4 presets that can come in handy if you aren’t a speaker geek.

With the 57.2 Watt-Hour battery, you’d have entertainment for 9 hours.

I agree that’s not much for a portable speaker.

But it’s also not too less.

You can buy Aiwa’s extended battery that goes up to 18 hours.

  • Solid and robust Hits low ends with accuracy Easy to use graphic equalizer Loud and loud College party speakers
  • You might have to purchase an APTX Bluetooth codec to see its full potential

People Up to 60 indoors, 30 outdoors (patio or backyard)
Weight 12 lbs
Power 1 A battery
Battery life 5-6 hours

The QFX Portable Bluetooth Speaker is portable in its true sense.

But that’s not the only thing you’ll get with it.

There’s bass, loudness, and good overall performance.

There’s an unmistakable balance in all the departments that makes it a reliable house party sound system.

Why buy it?

2,600 W power is probably the highest in this list.

However, as I said before, that does not say anything clearly about the quality of the sound.

Yes, it gets pretty loud. So loud that it’s almost unbearable.

But at high volumes, it will lose some of its sound quality despite the fact that it houses an 8” woofer. It won’t be outright bad, though.

For the loudness, buy it.

It has a telescopic handle and two rear wheels, signature of a portable speaker.

You can take it anywhere easily. No hassle there.

The design is not showy. If that’s what you want, choose this speaker.

There are no DJ lights.

The bluetooth works great.

But as the time goes by, you might experience a reduction in its overall quality.

It’s simple. No major geeky stuff going on there to confuse you.

Just connect or plug and listen to your music!

To compensate for that and if you want to spice up things, you can choose from the three colors offered: Silver, blue, and red.

  • Portable in every sense Simple controls Louder than most speakers Will work great with amplifiers because of its higher watts Portable speakers for house party
  • The built quality is mediocre but at this price, why should we expect a speaker made out of steel? Low battery life

Weight 4.62 lbs

Battery life 10 hours

The BUGANI M83 Outdoor Travel Portable Bluetooth Party Speakers look like they’re straight out of some sci-fi movie.

They have quite an unorthodox design.

The body is made of rubber plastic, which means it has a great feel.

There aren’t any unnecessary light shows and no glaring colors. Just plain industrial design that doesn’t look drab at all.

And just like its design, it’s performance is also not drab.

Why go for it?

It’s super, super portable.

Weighing only 4.62 lbs, it has a strong handle on its top that connects both speakers like a bridge so that you don’t have any difficulty carrying this thing as a unit.

It runs on Bluetooth 5.0.

That means instant connections with no delays at all.

It remembers your phone, computer, or whatever Bluetooth streaming device you’re connecting with it.

But I cannot confirm whether someone can hijack its connectivity or not.

What I can confirm is that you can connect two M83s with a single phone and call it a party.

That surely makes it compete with the best Bluetooth speakers for parties.

Other connectivity includes a TF source and AUX.

The AUX cable comes with it, to be specific.

The bass is insane for this price.

Although I have to agree that it’s not as impressive as they can be muffled sometimes, you can still very much rely on it.

It will still produce some vibrations and since the unit is lightweight, you’d see it shake with the song.

Thank the two sub-woofer diaphragms for this that produce good mids and lows.

The speakers are IPX5 water resistant.

Take them outdoors, throw a pool party, or simply enjoy yourself at a beach and forget about losing them to water.

  • Strong built lasts longer Good bass Waterproof Bluetooth 5.0 Easy operation
  • You might wanna use an EQ if you want better results No mic connectivity

If you’re looking for a true portable PA system with all the connectivity shenanigans, then Samson Expedition XP800 Portable Big PA System System is for you.

It is simple yet high-performing for small to medium events with some 150 people.

Why go for it?

Two 8” woofers with a capacity to churn out highs, mids, and low ends coming at an 800W are enough to rock your party or event.

Whether it is an outdoor backyard wedding or a church service, every attendant will hear everything that goes through it with crystal clarity.

The speakers at first might not seem too loud but owing to its power, when you amp up the input, you won’t regret the louder experience at all.

It comes with 16 presets for a variety of ambient sounds and environment.

That means even if you aren’t tech savvy or an audiophile, you will still be able to set sound profiles suitable for your event.

How’s that?

The Bluetooth is absolutely lovable.

You can connect mics from over a 30ft distance without experiencing any distortion at all.

Durability is guaranteed for this price.

That shouldn’t raise your expectations. Not a single system can outlast a decade.

However, for this price range, it has steel grill and durable cases that allow plenty of room for the kind of sound you want.

It’s dedicated mixer is easy to operate, although you can say that it lacks a few details here and there.

But they might not be necessary if you just want to plug and play with the presets.

  • Portable when packed in a single unit Good overall built quality Louder with more capacity Very little to no distortion at all Bluetooth connectivity for a PA system Huge speakers for parties
  • The chords are a bit shorter

17. JBL Professional EON208P Portable and Big Speakers for Parties

Output watts 300
Output watts 30.28 x 15.63 x 22.52 inches

Power Corded
Battery life No battery

Big but smartly designed, the JBL Professional EON208P Portable and Big Speaker for Parties has everything you need in a personal PA system.

They have a terrific sound quality and a larger 8-channel mixer as compared to the previous product I reviewed.

However, there are still some caveats. Nothing’s perfect after all.

For example, the company touts that this party music box is so easy to set up that you don’t need a manual.

You do need one and the one they give is pretty filled with errors.

So, unless you can go through that abated or you have a know-how of setting systems like this one, go for it by all means.

Why buy it?

Carrying it around is super easy.

Thanks to its suitcase-style design, you can literally pack everything from chords to mics.

The speaker fits into the mixer; thus, making the whole system one of the best portable speakers for party.

The 8-channel mixer is the highlight of this personal PA system.

Yes, it is still very basic, but you do have separate channels for monitors, headphones, and a sub-woofer.

The speaker is a 300W stereo expert that can deliver a wide range audio coverage.

However, to get the best out of this system, you might wanna connect a sub-woofer to the mixer.

There’s a limitation to every product. Isn’t it?

Durability is guaranteed.

The unit can easily go for 3 to 4 years minimum with no apparent decrease in sound quality.

There’s Bluetooth connectivity.

However, mixing mics with music from a Bluetooth source can be cumbersome given the fact that there’s no volume control for this.

  • Impressive design Easy laid out mixer controls Plenty of pre-amp circuits Great for personal music sessions, gigs, private parties, and more
  • Corded mic External mic pre-amp needed for balancing out the volume with the master volume Not the best Bluetooth party speakers

18. Pyle PPHP1249KT Wireless Huge Portable PA Speakers System for Parties

Battery life No battery

The third entry in the big party audio system is the Pyle PPHP1249 KT Wireless Portable PA Speaker System.

It has an active and a passive speaker.

Meaning, that one speaker also acts as a master control unit while the other is only a speaker that gets signals from it.

Regardless, both work just fine and produce sound quality that is suitable for a gathering of 170 people indoors.

Yes, it is that loud.

The only con so far is its mic, which is corded and mediocre. Read further to know more.

Why get it now?

The loudness is unparalleled.

With a power output of 1800W, you can play tracks that can bring the house down.

Even if the speakers cannot reach this much power, you can connect an amplifier and reap the benefits of using their ultimate capacity.

There’s a balance between loudness, bass, depth, and all that.

But to get more of a single sound feature, you’d have to make some adjustments.

For example, to get good bass, you’d have to connect a subwoofer, which will not only increase the loudness but also richness of its sound.

The Bluetooth works great.

You can easily connect Bluetooth enabled devices to it from a distance of 20 feet.

However, you have to keep the phone in line of sight of the active speaker.

It’s better to keep the device near to the speakers for all things considered.

There’s a remote control.

But that too works in line with the front of the active speaker. Also, it doesn’t work if you point it to the back.

There’s a master volume for the sake of simplicity.

However, you can tweak the volume of mic input, the device you’ve connected to it, bass, treble, etc.

  • Sturdy speakers 3.5mm stand mounts and 2 stands are included in the package Super easy to operate Delivers in large halls and backyard parties Best speakers for loud music
  • Cheap mic Remote works only in Bluetooth, radio, USB or SD mode

The PRORECK DJ Party Speaker System Powered Combo Set is versatile in every sense.

In this price range, it is not a bad bet at all.

But of course, you cannot expect everything from it because lets be honest they are not going to sound like expensive $5000 speakers.

Still, they’re not going to disappoint you. That’s for sure.

For their price, they come with a range of accessories that will work for your DJ gigs just fine.

Why go for it?

2000W and 200W RMS are specs you can never ignore.

They can get pretty loud. And based on your knowledge of speakers, you can get them near their limit.

When you max out every other volume knob, the LED will turn on encompassing the 15” woofer.

The colors keep on changing and you cannot make one stay.

The bass, treble, highs, lows, and middles are all perfectly balanced out.

They are not the best you can get but also not the worse.

But yes, I’m disappointed that the bass doesn’t justify its 15” sub.

The active speaker has a built-in amplifier.

That means it magnifies the audio to give all-round sound and cover a wide range of frequencies so that no song is left out.

Setting them up is very easy.

You only have to press the power button and they’re ready to use.

Once done, you can carry it around with the help of the 3 handles. Also, the speakers are light so portability guaranteed.

There’s a built-in 5-band equalizer that works great in adjusting different music tones.

You get bluetooth connectivity, SD card, USB, FM, RCA input for karaoke/TV etc, and mic input.

Yes, the telescopic stands are just love.

You also get a mic with the package, but don’t put too much hope on that because it’s mediocre.

If you’re throwing a small party, then using it makes sense. Otherwise, for professional gigs, you might want to buy another.

  • It is a complete set with everything that you would need in the package. Sturdy construction Very loud The stands are of high quality
  • Mic is pathetic LED lights only come to life when the volume crosses a certain threshold

The fact that it has everything bundled in a small unit that looks great makes this speaker one of its kind.

Why use it?

It is super lightweight and portable.

As a DJ, an artist, or just a layman that wants good music, you can carry it around anywhere.

The unit is pretty stable.

Even at high volumes, you won’t see any unruly vibrations tumbling it down the stand.

With 100W powerful woofer, you can get pretty good lows.

It has a built-in amplifier, which makes things easier.

Its sound remains at 90-110 db.

Ask any audiophile and he or she will tell you how good a range this is for clear cut sounds without distortion.

It almost has all connections.

There’s Bluetooth, XLR microphone input, USB, SD Card, Aux, RCA, and XLR ¼”.

All of these make this speaker versatile. Use it as a PA, an auxiliary TV speaker, karaoke machine, and whatnot

The microphone jacks have separate volume knobs so you can tweak them to get the desired output.

Reproduces excellent sound of musical instruments.

However, piano users might use it with caution.

  • All-in-one versatile DJ speaker Highly compact and portable Built quality is good Controlling knobs doesn’t produce screeching sounds Does not overheat Best portable speakers for outdoor party (DJ)
  • No place to wrap its cord No battery power

Boy, that was a long list of best party speakers.

I hope I’ve helped you choose the right dance party speakers based on your requirement whether it is superb Bluetooth, DJ lights, portability, size, outdoor/indoor/backyard capabilities, and more.

Based on the seven categories I’ve made above, you can always look for new units besides this article.

Good luck!

What is the loudest party speaker?

The loudness of a party speaker depends on the power it can handle. As you read throughout the article, all the speakers come with different Watts of power.

The loudest so far in that aspect has been the PRORECK DJ Party Speaker System Powered Combo Set with 2000W power.

It is a PA system with everything that you can ask for. For example, there’s a built-in amplifier that magnifies the input signal to a satisfying degree.

Moreover, it has a 5-band equalizer to help you achieve the right balance between highs, mids, and lows.

The other best thing about it besides loudness is its portability. For a unit this big, that surely comes in handy.

Besides mic, and the necessary cords, you also get speaker stands with it. They are sturdy as hell and you’d have no issue setting them up.

In fact, the overall system is so easy to operate, you’d simply love it. It could be your best speaker for outdoor party.

Which speaker has the best sound quality?

The sound quality of a speaker can be subjected to a person’s taste.

That is to say that one size does not fit everyone. However, still, there are some speakers out there with the best sound quality.

They are the ones that operate in a range of 90dB to 110dB.

From the above list, the LyxPro SPA-8-8 Compact Portable DJ PA Speaker System turns out to be a great choice, although almost all of the speakers mentioned do well.

The LyxPro operates in the same decibels mentioned. You can use them for a wedding, church service, in your classroom, karaoke, or just a small gathering around your firepit. It can also be the best sound system for outdoor party.

Trust me you’ll hear tunes that you haven’t heard before in your music.

It is also fairly loud with 100W of power and therefore, it will play a lot of songs without producing that buzzing sound you normally get when speakers reach their limits.

What’s more is that it is super light and portable. Despite that, it does not fall off at the behest of its sound because of its stability, which again makes it the best sound system for outdoor party.

Is 100W loud enough for a house party?

Whether a speaker is loud enough or not depends on its power capacity. However, it’s always not that simple.

For example, a 100W speaker produces some decent loud sounds, given the fact that it is of good quality.

If it’s not, it might not reach its maximum capacity at all. The result will sometimes be muffled uncomfortable sounds or the sound system for party will simply blow away.

Therefore, it is very important to check the make of the speaker more than its watts.

But generally speaking, yes, a 100W is loud enough for a gathering of about 20 to 30 people indoors.

How do I choose the loudest speaker?

To choose the loudest speaker, you need to keep a few things in mind.

  1. It should have a power greater than 100W. Below 100W or even 100-200W, the units are generally speakers for party room. If you have two units of different powers, always choose the one that can take more power. I’m recommending this because larger wattage can bear external amplifiers. That can come in handy in situations where the speaker unit itself cannot produce the kind of loudness you want. When you connect an amp to a speaker with high wattage, you’d see the magic itself.
  2. Make sure that it has a sub-woofer so that you don’t have to compromise on the low ends. Normally, louder speakers don’t come cheap and they do have good diagrams to produce the thump you ask for. But there are some cheaper models where you’d have to connect a sub-woofer. That is not something bad at all and especially for people who do gigs, it can pay off.
  3. The manufacturer should have a name in quality. Sometimes, louder speakers just shriek. They do not produce comfortable sound because the internal parts are simply mediocre. They cannot sustain much. Therefore, always buy from manufacturers whose products last longer. The products listed above are from good makers.

Who makes the loudest Bluetooth speaker?

So far I’ve seen two manufacturers that make the loudest Bluetooth speaker. The first one is the Acoustic and the second is Pyle.

These companies have a great reputation in the market for quality products. I like one product from each company and I have included both in the list above.

The Acoustic Audio by Goldwood Bluetooth LED Light Display Speaker and the Pyle Portable Bluetooth PA Speaker.

The former has a 1000W power and the latter has a whopping 1200W power. Both these parameters indicate that they both are quite loud good big speakers.

You can buy either of them for a crowd of about 200 people indoors and 150-160 outdoors. They would not disappoint you in any aspect.

They have Bluetooth connectivity with the Pyle’s model range being 33 feet. You can stream your music directly into the speakers once you set them and forget about worries.

Other connectivity options are also available. However, I’m not a fan of Pyle’s mic. But it still deserves a spot in the best party speakers.
